Morricone/Glorioso Noir/Palmenhain

Born April 27, 2023

"Ember" is a top prospect for either the hunter or dressage arena. She has lofty yet flat kneed movement and a superb canter. She is a sweet filly that loves people and attention. She is quiet and brave, perhaps a bit on the lazy side- not much bothers this one!

Ember is by Morricone. Morricone was the Oldenburg Main Premium winner at his licensing and was praised for his impression and ability. He won the dressage index at the 30-day test in Adelheidsdorf with a final score of 9.33. The judges gave the stunning stallion a 9.0 for his trot and canter and the highest possible score of 10.0 for his walk. Morricone unites an optimum noble and type, striking quality of movements, as well as, brilliant rideability and a strong kind character. In his stallion performance test he won superiorly the dressage part with a score of 9.33 and received the maximum score 10.0 for rideability and walk four times. All basic gaits as well as constitution, character, temperament and willingness to perform were praised with scores of 9.5 and 9.0. On the one hand this noble dancer impresses with three fantastic basic gaits, rhythm and a striking engagement of the hindquarters, but on the other hand is the rideability and the imperturbable strength of character, which is absolutely unique for such a youthful stallion. Morricone's offspring have exceeded all expectations. They stand out with their beautiful and noble type like they were all of a piece. Many champion foals as well as numerous price-highlights feature prominently well-known elite foal auctions and foal championships worldwide. From his first crop six licensed sons, including two premium stallions in Oldenburg and Hannover, made up a brilliant breeding record for Morricone. Remarkable is the excellent character of his offspring, which present themselves as very drawn to people, with strong nerves and easy to handle.

Ember is out of Zahnya- by Glorioso Noir and also from a proven damline in her own right. Zahnya, her dam and all of her siblings have all proven themselves in-hand including several National and Zone Championships. Several of her foals have been awarded accolades including site champion, foal of distinction, and Horse of the year. Zahnya was Oldenburg horse of the year in 2007, 2008, and 2009. She was 2020 USDF National Champion broodmare, 2020 National Champion Oldenburg, 2020 USEF Reserve National Champion Mature Horse and 2020 USEF Zone Champion. She also had multiple USEF PHR National and Zone Championships. Zahnya's Sire Glorioso Noir placed equally as well in the dressage and jumping portions of his 100-Day Stallion Test. He competed successfully in young horse dressage classes and went on to be a well decorated hunter, earning the title of 2007 AHS Regular Working Hunter Champion. True to the versatility in his pedigree, his offspring have exceled in multiple rings.

Colorado Skrødstrup/Canturano/Damiro

Born June 16, 2024

"Flo" might not have gotten her daddy's spots but she has such a fun personality and boy can this girl move! She has a floaty, flat kneed trot and her canter is equally as good. She will make a superb partner for the amateur hunter rider.

Flo is by Colorado Skrødstrup. Colorado Skrødstrup is a Knabstrupper stallion imported from Denmark in 2006.  He is a bay leopard spotted stallion and stands 15.3 hh.  Colorado was only the 2nd registered and approved stallion in this country, and one of the only approved and registered Knabstrupper stallions to  actively compete at any discipline in the U.S.   After coming to the United States, he began training for the jumpers, and placed consistently.  At his first "A" rated jumper show (the "Oaks", San Juan Capistrano, California) against very qualified competition, he received a second and a third place in the 1.10m against 89 other horses!  Colorado then switched careers and trained through 4th Level and competed successfully while with his new owner through 2nd at USDF recognized shows. In 2010, Colorado made history by becoming the first Knabstrupper stallion in the history of the breed to have successfully completed a 70 Day or 100 Day Stallion Testing in North America.  He attended the 70 Day Stallion Testing hosted in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and impressed both judges, riders and attendees with his athletic ability and finished 3rd in Dressage and 5th overall against a very impressive group of warmblood stallions.

Flo is out of the KWPN mare Small Talk (reg. as Diedinka). Small Talk had a career in the jumper ring in Europe prior to being imported and shown as a hunter. Smaller of stature (carded at just 15.2) but BIG bodied, Small Talk has a huge stride and had no problem getting down the lines. She is a scopey jumper with knees to nose style. She excelled in the Derby ring before an injury sidelined her to a broodmare career with us. She has been a wonderful producer for us. Her foals are always very outgoing, brave, full of personality and lovely movers. Flo is certainly no exception to this and we know she will capture the heart of a very lucky person!

Flo is registered Belgian Sporthorse will mature likely 15.2-3, and lifetime recorded with both USEF and USHJA.

Furst Nymphenburg/Glorioso Noir/Palmenhain

Born May 16, 2024

"Finley" is an elegant and leggy filly that could play in the hunter ring and/or make someone a lovely dressage prospect as well.

Finley's sire, Furst Nymphenburg, was reserve champion at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden in 2007. In the 2008 competition season he won several riding horse classes with scores of up to 8.7, was Vice Champion of the 3 yr old Hanoverian Riding Horses and qualified for the Bundeschampionate. In the autumn of 2008. He did a 300-day stallion performance test in 2008 in Adelheidsdorf and scored 147.23 for dressage (1st place) and 101.11 for show jumping (10th), finishing first overall with an index of 134.98 points .

His sire Florencio I was Westfalen Champion and Vice Champion at the Bundeschampionat of the four-year-old stallions in 2003. In 2004 he secured the Dutch Pavo-Cup with Hans-Peter Minderhoud/NED and won the World Cup of Young Horses of the five-year-olds in Verden with a record-breaking result: A total of 9.8 where the canter was marked with a 10. In 2005 he defended his title in the six-year-old class. Florencio I became the dressage main premium winner in Oldenburg in 2004. There is depth in the pedigree of Furst Nymphenburg. Damsire De Niro, currently a most prominent dressage sire, can be found on the dam line, and in third generation there is Argentinus, another who delivered both dressage and jumping horses.

Furst Nymphenburg offspring have shown a well rounded ability to compete in all disciplines, Franko, who is a winning two-in-hand carriage horse with Marcella Meinecke. He finished 7th at the 2019 German Driving Championships in Zeiskam. He also sired the international junior rider's horse Fly Rio (Mathilde von Guttenberg). The most prize money was won by his daughter Julia's Diamond Princess, in S-level show jumping. Son Forrest Gump is a successful 3* event horse as well.

Checkmate/Viva Voltaire/Rio Grande

Born June 27, 2024

"Foxy" is a such a fitting name for this adorable redhead. She is cute as a button, sassy as can be, bold and outgoing and we are absolutely smitten!! She is as lovely a mover as you could want and will be a top contender in the hunter ring. Classy looks with classic style right here.

Foxy is by the Oldenburg stallion Checkmate. We love this stallion so much we breed to him just about every year. This girl is one of my absolute favorites though!!  Checkmate is a beautiful typey stallion, with a lovely expression, he is very modern with correct conformation. He is a good mover and he has a superb jump, jumping with excellent technique/form,and clearly shows a lot of scope. Checkmate also displays a good temperament, and is always very nice to work with. He is a consistent sire of premium foals in all registries, multiple line show champions, his offspring are also winning in all disciplines, multiple hunter and derby winners, eventers and jumpers.

Foxy is out of Viva Soleil (reg. as Viva Georgina W)- the kindest mare you will ever meet. "Violet" started her career in the hunter ring with a junior rider, competing successfully in Wellington for several years. She is a hack winning mover with good form over fences and a truly wonderful temperament. Violet was also used regularly for beginner lessons prior to becoming a broodmare. She is an old soul that our kids routinely handle, never needs a chain and never puts a foot wrong. Her babies have all inherited her kind nature and have sold quickly. I am SO tempted to keep this one so get her now before I change my mind!!
